Ghost Hunting at the Golden Fleece

On a ghost hunt to The Golden Fleece in the city of York in the U.K ,this Tudor fronted public house is reputed to be one of the oldest inns in York and it’s origins can traced to around 1500. It is rumoured to be one of the most haunted buildings in Yorkshire, let alone York, paranormal activity recorded here includes strange light anomalies, items been thrown off the bar.

The Golden Fleece in the city of York
The Golden Fleece as gained a reputation of being haunted by a variety of eerie specters from ghostly children dressed in rags are said to be heard running up and down the corridors. Another spooky sighting is that of a second world war pilot who is alleged to, as legend would have it, either committed suicide, or fell to his untimely death from an upstairs window in a drunken stupor.

But what we witnessed in one of the bedrooms literally shook us all to the core, there is reputed to be a malevolent spirit called John who is considered to be quite aggressive and even threatening to women who participate in glass divination when communicating with him.

Incidents of  words ‘death or  kill’ have been spelt on the Ouija board, when in contact with this spectral culprit who is said to frighten even the most hardened of ghost hunters. A group of us were sat in the alleged bedroom of Johns calling out for some paranormal activity, when unexpectedly a noise was heard from behind us as we all turned around we noticed that a coat hangar was now on the floor, and the remaining coat hangars were swinging violently too and fro in a manner very similar to a pendulum I had never witnessed before, there was no one even in close proximity to the wardrobe that could have moved or banged the wardrobe, however we could not even reason how the coat hangar had landed on the floor as it was not there when we initially walked into the room, prior to starting the vigil, and all of us in the group had heard the coat hangar hit the floor as well.

In the midst of all the chaos we could still hear the coat hangars moving in the wardrobe too, needless to say there was a lot of screaming in the room by our shocked ghost hunters, some of them left the room vowing never to return to the room. Some of us carried on with the vigil, asking ‘John’ for more signs of his fearsome presence, the K2 metre spiked on request as well when we asked John to do so, however nothing could match the ferocity of the coat hangars being thrown from the wardrobe.

On reflection there was no way the coat hangar could have been thrown by any of us in the vigil, and the way the remainder moved also, left us knowing that only unseen hands could have done this and the legend of  John Peckett now had another chapter to add of his power and aggression.

Ghost Hunting at Bolling Hall

Firstly we must say a massive thank you to both Paul and Dave, the Bolling Hall staff who were so helpful in making the event run so smoothly. Their input and chat at the beginning of the night was first class and ensured a smooth running event.

Bolling Hall
We must begin in the reputedly most haunted bedroom in England, the paneled bedroom where Rosey was conducting a vigil with a group of ghost hunters, in the darkened quiet of the bedroom, they were just calling out when the heavy door that had been shut suddenly swung open at great speed, an intrepid ghost hunter Simon ran to the doorway to see if another group member had opened it, to Simon's consternation no one was there and the corridor empty.  Simon shut the door firmly and they all sat down again all totally bemused,  when a few minutes later the door swung open again to the horror of all of them in the room, Simon again was first one to the doorway and again no one was insight. Simon yet again shut the door firmly and some minutes passed again when the incident happened again, for a third time Simon got to the doorway and no one was there.

This episode had Susan absolutely terrified where she had to go and have a cup of tea and a chat with our lovely paranormal investigator Steven. As Rosey spoke about the incident later it had totally baffled her and Melonie who had witnessed all the three occurrences, Rosey added that she had never seen such power from the spirit world as to open a door so violently.

Glynn, Craig and Karl were amazed when attempting spirit communication through table tapping, when however many times they tapped on the table the same number of taps was repeated on the table by the unseen hands of the spirit world. In another room coughing was heard so audibly in the room that it was as though someone in the room had actually done it, however there was no one in the corner where the noise had emanated from. This was not the only ghostly voice heard, in a number of vigils the sound of a woman moaning was heard clearly by many ghost hunters in the group.

In the cellar Mel our lady medium felt the ghostly hands of a spectral being touch her arm, and also  whilst attempting to contact the supernatural; inhabitants of Bolling Hall via the K2 meters, the spirit world responded by spiking the K2s on request for a considerable amount of time to the groups amazement.

There was some fascinating results with the Franks box too, when yet again specific answers were given to specific questions, again the results we gathered with the Franks box gives more and more credence to the white noise theory.

In the blue bedroom Christina saw the mattress on the bed dip, as though someone had just sat on the bed, plus she also mentioned that she may have briefly seen the apparition of a man in the direction of the bed. The sighting of light anomolies was also reported, blue lights were said to be seen moving around by Simon and Rowena.

In another vigil the table was seen to be tipping on request to each member of that vigil and also glided across the room on request too. However on a final note both Tania and Nicola turned their phones off at the beginning of the paranormal investigation, and were staggered to find both of their phones had been turned on later in in the event.

As we said our farewells to all our fantastic ghost hunters for joining Simply Ghost Nights, Dave and Paul for their great help, but we also said a thank you to the former earthly occupants of Bolling Hall for their interaction in making the event a success with the paranormal activity they provided.

Isabella the Wicked Ghost Girl

I remember my old house. Kind of dull and not very fun, but that's not why I remember it. The reason I remember that house in Devon was because of a strange incident that happened there. We moved there because it was bigger and better than my other house... or so I thought.

Opposite our house was three houses joined together and I could only see them when I was looking out of my window, because I never thought of going into the garden and watching from there. I can vividly remember wondering if there was any kids living there, I never saw anyone go in... or out.

I was 13 at the time, still a child myself. My dad worked funny hours and my mum babied my little brother Shaun until the age of 6, the age he was when the incident happened.

Mum left me and Shaun alone (it was the first time she had done this) and we were told not to leave the house. Shaun soon got bored and I tried to amuse him with some games and stuff. It didn't work though and he just wasn't having any of it! As I passed the kitchen table to go get Shaun a snack, I noticed a tin that I had never seen before. It was green and had a flower on the top (not a real flower though). I peered in side and discovered a little key.

After almost an hour of Shaun whining, I decided to grab the key and open the back door with it. I let my brother outside and I followed explaining to him that he needed to listen to me when I said "we have to be in before mum gets back... okay?" He nodded and ran straight to the swing set. We giggled as I pushed him higher and higher, and for a split second I looked towards the houses. In the second house (directly opposite ours) I saw a little girl watching me. I stopped pushing and rushed over to the fence immediately. We starred at each other for minutes! But what happened after was even weirder.

Mum had arrived early and we were still outside when she came. The first thing I expected was a telling off for leaving the house. But mum was fine with us 'exploring'.

The morning after, mum was still in bed at 11:00 am and so me and Shaun took a wander outside gain. But this time we didn't see the little girl in the window... we saw her in our garden. Shaun screamed loudly but I covered his mouth with one hand so he didn't startle the girl. She looked and me and ran to Shaun smiling at him and wanting to play. I was in shock and didn't think anything of it. At least they were having fun. The girl would laugh and play with little Shaun but every few minutes she would look at me. Her smile would fade to a displeased look and she would stare at me for endless seconds.

Finally I said "erm... we have to go now." The little girl looked. She didn't seem too pleased. After maybe 5 minutes I asked " what's your name?"

"Isabella" She would reply.

I took young Shaun inside and watched as she hopped over the fence and crossed the quiet road to her house.

I never saw her much... but Shaun did!

He said she hit him on the arm, and there it was... a little hand print all red and saw. He also complained that she opened his door every night and closed it again just to wake him up. But the worst worrying thing was when I woke up to get a drink and I saw Isabella on the kitchen floor... dead I think! But I also saw her in her window... the day after. A ghost... that's what she was! She hated me for no reason... and we were her victims!

I never told my mother because she just wouldn't of believed me!

But everybody else did.

The Ghost in the Barn

Ok so when I was 4 ( I'm 13 now) my mom got a house that her friend used to live in. He was a 10 year old boy and his name was Joe. His parents treated him like crap and made him sleep where our laundry room now is (which isn't big at all). And one day him and his brother were playing in the backyard and he told his brother that he was going to hang himself in the barn because he didn't like being treated like that. His brother didn't take him seriously and he just shook his head and went inside. When he went back out to get him for dinner he couldn't find him so he went and looked everywhere then finally he looked in the barn to find his brother hanging from a rope with a knocked over chair below him.

Well nothing ever happened to us. We saw Joe walking around in the house and in the yard sometimes but we didn't do anything about it because he never hurt us or bothered us at all. Well my mom got a new boyfriend 5 months ago and he dropped his pocket knife out by the barn so he went to look for it at like 8 o'clock and he heard something say 'get away' well he just shrugged it off and continued looking for his knife and a minute later he felt his neck get really hot like he got burned with something. He got freaked out and came back to the house. He told my mom to look at his neck to see if it was burnt. She said no but you have 3 scratches.

She went with him back to the barn and he got scratched again on his leg, the same as last time just 3 scratches. My mom took pictures of his scratches and this time me her and him went out there with the camera to take pictures and talk to Joe. He went in the barn the back way and he tried to open the door and when he tried to open it he jumped and he came over to my mom and told her he felt like he got burnt again on his back. She lifted up his shirt and he had 3 long scratch marks on his back and this time it drew blood. From his shoulder to his lower back.

He provoked Joe and again he got scratched on his leg his stomach and his arm. We went back inside and took pictures of his scratches and my little sister got freaked out. We went back out again and it happened again taking the pictures when he felt the heat. And again the week after that them and 2 of their friends went out there cause they didn't believe them and it didn't do anything. It was still daytime. They went out at night and it did it again with someone standing by him and his friend didn't get scratched and my moms friend said that it seemed to get worse as they walked away so they started to walk away and and then it choked him.

I don't know if it was Joe if maybe he reminds him of his dad and wants revenge for beating him or if its not Joe and its some demon or something. But it really freaks us out. If it is Joe he hasn't done anything for a good 25 years to anybody and I really don't think its him. I used to believe people when they said ghosts (or whatever it is) don't want to hurt you but we learned the hard way that some do want to hurt you. or even try to kill you.

Spirtmance

Hi my name is Megan and I'm a 17 years old psychic. I have lived in an apartment near the creek for about four years along with my dad.

When I moved into the apartment with my dad I was almost 13 years old. The same day I moved in I had a small strange little feeling of something not being quite right. I told my dad about it but he ignored me. The first night it was clear that my room was unusually cold.

A few weeks later I started to feel a very strong presence inside my room. It felt like someone was near my bed, this went on for about a week or two. After a while I started to see a man with blue eyes and dirty blonde hair. He looked to be in his late 20's to early 30's. I started to see the face of one of the sprits.

After a few years I stopped sleeping in my room because it got to a point where I could not sleep in it anymore. This stopped a lot of the supernatural stuff. But when I decided to go to high school after couple of years of home schooling things got worse because I was having a very hard time at school because I was always the quiet girl who the other girls out casted but I also have depression.

I started to see Angels around me. But I also believe that I have other spirits around me. The other spirits have caused me to feel, hear, smell, see chills, cold spots, warm spots, tingling, white light, green and purple orb, the outlines of three spirits, floating body parts, hearing an unearthly voice which sounded like a recording, someone near my ear, someone near my neck, arms, back, neck, chest, lower back be touched, someone's head in my face, someone touching my necklace around my neck, feeling someone putting their hand or cheek to my face, someone touching my hair, someone touching my hair with their hand and then coming to my ear, when I'm on the couch there is a pulling force it feels like someone is holding me, breathing, someone coming up the stairs footsteps stop at my bedroom window, spirit makes smell which smells like  burning cloth or something sulphuric, some times it is like someone is on top of me, crackling and other strange sounds, someone holding me, someone kissing me more than once (very very creepy). And of course he is not a dead boyfriend.

Footsteps Down The Stairs

I will never forget this for as long as I live... Ok. About a week ago, I was babysitting for my neighbors. It was around 11:00 pm. I was tired, but I wanted to wait for the baby's parents to come home, (at around 12:30.) I started watching a movie after I put the baby to sleep in her room. I started to have that strange feeling that I was being watched. I figured that it was my imagination again, so I ignored the feeling. Then I heard a loud thump. I ran up the stairs to see if the baby was all right, and of course, little Cassie was sound asleep in her crib. I stared off into space for a while. I didn't know what to do.

I had no idea where the sound came from, and I didn't want to go out of Cassie's room. I went over to the bedroom door and cracked it open. Nothing was there. I slowly made my way to the stairs. I crept down them, listening for anymore sounds, but nothing was heard. As soon as I got to the bottom, I went back to the couch. It was 11:35. I relaxed myself, and dozed off for twenty minutes.

When I woke up, I heard creaking. Now, I had been in this house before, and the only part of the house that creaked like that was the attic ladder. I was angry/horrified and I wanted to find out what was going on, and yet I wanted to get out of that house as soon as I could. I couldn't leave the baby. So, I walked back up the stairs, and over to the attic door. I grabbed a flashlight out of the drawer of the table in the hall. I pulled down the ladder. I looked and looked, and of course, nothing there. Then, I heard something. I slowly came down the ladder and walked toward the stairs.

As I got closer, the sounds became more clear. I stood at the top of the stairs, and realized that what I heard were footsteps. Coming up the stairs. I froze. I could feel something breathing in my face. Then, it grabbed my ankles and started dragging me toward the attic. I struggled, and when I was almost pulled up the ladder, the grip released, and I fell. I jumped up and ran toward the baby's room, but just as I was almost to the door, I was pushed from the right. Hard. Down the stairs. When it pushed me, I hit the stairs halfway down, and tumbled down from there.

The parents walked in and I was on the floor, a sharp pain in my left arm. The mother ran to me, and the father ran up to get the baby. I tried yelling for him not to go up there, but I was still shocked. I told them exactly what happened, and surprisingly, they believed me, (after a few minutes of questions and searching around the house.) They moved not too long after. If you find that you don't believe my story, fine. But I still have the bruises around my ankles, on my forehead, and my broken arm to remember it by.

Ghost Hunting at The Gainsborough Old Nick

What a night of paranormal activity that Simply Ghost Nights and all the ghost hunters were treated too, no superlatives can describe the amount of paranormal phenomena that occurred at the creepy Gainsborough Old Nick Theatre. The evening started with a brief and informative chat from John the manager of the Old Nick, who was such a splendid host for the night.

In the group séance at the start of the ghost hunt,  everyone heard unexplained banging and tapping from within the main theatre room in which we were holding our group séance. We also witnessed light analomies in the theatre room as well, all this was too much for one of our ghost hunters Jo, who quickly fled the room in a terrified state , however after a few minutes Jo bravely returned to the group vigil once more. Some of the ghost hunters claimed that they could here the theatre seats moving up and down also.

After we had all split into our four vigil groups the spirits certainly came out to entertain us at this former police station, the ghostly inhabitants left many of us astonished at the level  of spooky  happenings.

Anne Marie one of the sceptics to join us claimed to have been kicked on the shin, in one of the vigil areas in the Old Nick, Anne Marie stated at the end of the night that she had changed her opinion on the possibility of life after death. Another sceptic Nick, was left stunned as the table tipped literally into his lap in the theatre room, in a session of table tipping.

Another group of ghost hunters swore they had heard heavy footsteps on the empty staircase, in the men’s cells another group stared in disbelief as a light anomaly in the shape of a perfect circle, literally moved along the darkened cell wall from left to right, and simply vanished in front of their disbelieving eyes.

We also had some excellent results with the glass divination as well in many of the vigil areas, in one vigil a ghostly character called ‘Don’ made his presence known through glass divination, K2 spikes were produced on request in attempting spirit contact with the spirit world, this enthralled Tracey and her group in the women’s cells, especially coupled with the aggressive tapping that almost lifted the table from off the floor.

However at the latter part of the ghost night, two groups were treated to a ferocious display of table tipping in the men’s wing, Richard said that he had never observed such an astonishing sight in his life, but many of us who have had first hand experience of table tipping, said, exactly the same too.

Alas as our time there came to a close, we all felt that it had been a privilege to have witnessed so much activity in one venue. As we said our goodbyes to the spirit world and to our amiable host John, we vowed to come back to The Gainsborough Old Nick Theatre and see if the spirits would delight us once more with their appearance.

Full Body Apparition at the Doncaster Air Museum

Some years ago whilst taking part in a ghost hunt at Doncaster Air Museum, I was in  a group of fellow ghost hunters in the middle of a vigil, just calling out for some form of spirit communication. We were sat in the large hangar that was said to be where the planes were repaired during the second world war, and prior to that had been Doncaster’s international airport.

The night was a cloudless summer night, it was also a rather mild time of the night too. The group was in good spirits all ready in anticipation for a night of ghost hunting, the adrenalin was starting to pump around the body of all of us. We were calling out for spirit activity when suddenly five of the group saw the solid mass of a human shape move directly pass the larger than normal doorway.

We immediately ran to the doorway to investigate who, or what had fleeted past the door, but not a soul was to be seen in the few seconds we had taken to reach the doorway they had literally disappeared
From the whole area when we reached the doorway we inadvertently  set off the security lights, but most shockingly outside the hangar there was pea gravel all around the area of the Air museum, which when the ghost hunters walked on it made an incredible noise that could be heard from our chairs in the hangar., however

We had  heard no noise from the visitation we had all seen, and another sobering thought also materialised. The figure literally walked straight through the disabled hand rails that lead into the hangar doorway.  As we added up all  this information the cold realisation hit each and everyone of us that we had indeed been, very fortunate to have come within metres of a full bodied apparition.

I asked Alan who was staffing the air museum that night, whether anyone else could have walked by the doorway as the figure we had seen was much bigger than Alan’s, Alan stated that no one else was on the grounds as the gates were all locked and the high fencing was quite difficult to climb up and the security light would have come on in the event of someone walking in.

The group all commented that we must have indeed seen a full bodied apparition, as in all our endeavours to point to the figure being human, we could not see how it was possible for a human figure to walk by the security lights without setting them off, how no noise was heard from the figure walking on the surrounding pea gravel, and there was no trace or sign immediately after the incident. The ghost hunters who witnessed this still chat about the time, we all saw a full bodied apparition at Doncaster Air Museum.

Ghost Hunting at Newcastle Keep

Where do we start about Newcastle Keep, the whole night shocked the Simply Ghost Nights team on this paranormal investigation. It was an event that nightmares and films are made of, we experienced it all at Newcastle Keep, the good, the bad and the downright demonic, from table tipping, glass divination, amazing K2 spikes, and most frighteningly even some of our solid team members getting channelled. The Castle dominates much of the sky line as you approach up the hill, you look in awe at the workmanship and labour it would have took to have built the castle many years ago, however we would soon find out what hid below the veneered beauty of this building and what was waiting for us from the other side to greet us with a sinister side that would turn an event upside down and shock even the most hardened ghost hunter.

We were greeted by Paul who was our host for the night at Newcastle keep and an excellent host he was too, and he allowed us to view Newcastle from the turrets of the castle where we could see the city sprawling away in all directions of the compass, as we all took in the wonderful views of the city life at night it was time to start the ghost hunt event.

After a drink and a light refreshment break it was time to begin our journey into the unknown and leave the sanctuary of our world, and investigate the paranormal world of Newcastle Keep and see exactly what would a wait the Simply Ghost Nights team and our brave ghost hunters, we would soon find out. In the garrison room we were treated to some amazing table tipping by the spirit of a soldier, however what unfolded later in the Chapel not only shocked us but brought to the fore the power and the sinister side of the spirit world.

In the chapel we were investigating, one group of ghost hunters were around the séance table calling out, and some more were attempting communication with the K2s and achieving some very good results especially when they were playing a Latin chant. But all this paled in insignificance when Mark our paranormal investigator was found in the corner of the room in the chapel rocking to and fro as if from a scene from a movie, when asked how he was, Mark replied " I need to smash the table up, I feel so angry" for anyone who knows Mark this is totally out of character. After a chat Mark came around and confessed to have had little control over his emotions.

Then Mel one of the teams mediums announced that she felt immense anger towards Stuart and wanted to hit him, (these feelings are not uncommon towards Stuart allegedly), again after a quick chat Mel returned back to her bubbly self and stated how the feelings had suddenly came. At this point the K2s were literally going crazy with activity, and the torches were turning themselves on and off on request and there was a feeling of dread in the room that we all felt.

Meanwhile on the séance table Rosey, Shelly, Paul, Ann, Clare and Melanie were making contact through glass divination with an alleged murderer, then all of a sudden behind them a chair moved slightly with no one in it, Paul suggested that this was indeed the murders favourite chair and that nobody could sit in it, the glass moved to yes. Philip our intrepid paranormal investigator bravely sat in the chair as during the séance the group were warned that this murderous spirit would harm anyone who sat in his chair. Alas Philip sat in the chair, with everyone else preoccupied with the séance and the K2 investigations it was good ten minutes until Rosey noticed Philip slumped in the chair bent over doubled up. The group called out to Philip as he sat up his eye’s glazed and Philip started to mumble incoherently at first until he said shaking "I'm going to cry" as we lead Philip away from the table and out of the chapel. As we spoke and reassured Philip he said he didn’t know what had come over him. It was as though this darkened entity had attempted to divide and conquer the Simply Ghost nights team and failed.

After a break and a review of the chapel investigation we agreed this was probably the most threatened the team had felt for a long time from the world of spirit. As we finished our glorious buffet it was time to carry on the investigations. One group had table tipping and glass divination in the King's chamber the spirit of a knight made his presence known, and a grey mist was seen to rise from the floor in this room too as well as dark shadow was noticeable from the toilet room inside the King's chamber.

As the time flew by yet again it was time to call it a wrap and the nights proceedings to a close, we knew we had been in a huge battle with the ghostly spectre of a frightening and dark nature, and won the battle for the greatness of good and god and as we left Newcastle Keep we vowed to return later in the year, to face our demons yet again.

The Real Haunted House

Ok. So I'm the 14 year old girl that USED TO think ghosts were a fake. My idea was "Ghosts are stupid. They aren't real. They are just things to get my mind wondering". But that's when we moved into a rent house a few years before.

Several different things happened in that creepy old house such as seeing the moon in the river without the moon in the sky, an old glass pipe that went missing for a year and turned up by the river, and my radio turning on while it was unplugged. Or even my experiences with the little girl singing "Silent Night" or all the black figures flashing past my eyes. But the most exciting story was when my stepfather was LITERALLY possessed by a servant of the devil or something.

It was strange. This 'thing' only possessed males living in the house. All I knew at the time was that it DID NOT like me at all. It liked to torture me and my mother by taking our stuff and throwing it at us and it liked to hurt and depress my stepfather.

Anyway, to the real story. This thing had possessed my stepfather and he lost his job, got really depressed, and had thoughts about suicide. Just like the guy that lived in that house before us (He died several years ago).

All of a sudden, one day after I got home from school, my stepfather got up and started beating me with his belt. I had gotten away from him and ran down the road, ONLY to be hit with his truck. It wasn't like him to hurt me. We really got along good BEFORE we moved into that weird old house.

A few days after I got out of the hospital (I got away with a few bruises and a bloody nose),we got into a new house that was more cozy and calming. But one of our old friends came up to check up on us to see how we were doing. And he told us about that house.

There was a man and his daughter living there. The man had lost his job and his daughter got really sick so her father couldn't pay to get her to the hospital. She died around Christmas and her father got really depressed over it. He got fired from his job and he committed SUICIDE in the basement of that house. There was also an old cemetery in the fields behind the house. You couldn't tell it was a cemetery at first glance, but we found human bones while digging up the stones. It was really disturbing.

But after I had learned the truth about the spirits in that house, I confronted them. I told that 'demon thing' to go away and stop bothering everyone. "Move on and you might see your daughter!" Those are the exact words out of my mouth... and all of a sudden, in a blink of an eye, a heaviness just like... lifted from my chest and I felt so much better. I wasn't scared anymore. I actually felt happy to be in that house. Then a shining light faded in from the hallway and shot away out the window.

This story is honestly, completely, 100% totally true! I'm only 14... but I'm DEFINITELY not crazy.

Mountain Spirits a North Georgia Ghost Story

Years ago a buddy and I were traveling in the mountains of North Georgia and got lost. We ended up on some isolated dirt/gravel road. Sometime after midnight we rounded a curve too fast and ended up in a deep ditch. We were stuck and had no idea what to do. Luckily a full, crisp moon was out so we started walking and after a few miles we heard a vehicle coming our way. What an eerie sight to see dim lights approaching in the still of the night along a deserted road.

The truck stopped, an older, gruffy man stepped out and approached us. His breath came out in misty puffs, his walk magnified by the crunch of gravel. I was somewhat scared, I'm sure my buddy was too. Thoughts of Deliverance rang through my head! All he said was, "What's going on?" We explained what happened. "Ain't no one can git ya out till morning." He did say there was an old fish camp nearby that we could probably sleep at. "I can drop ya off there."

We hopped in the back of the truck and he took us to the place. He led us straight to a room, it was open and told us to stay there; someone would come by in the morning. I asked his name and he said, "Henry Holcombe." We thanked him and said good night. We both remarked what a strange man, but being that we were extremely tired went straight to bed. The room was very small with a concrete floor, but thankfully a couple of very nice patchwork quilts. During the night I was awakened by a noise. The noise continued for a few minutes and stopped. All I remember was heavy breathing and crunching of leaves. I fell back asleep and awoke in early morn frost.

The cabin had a screened porch and there was a small table. On the table was a thermos of coffee and some fresh biscuits wrapped up in cloth in a basket! My buddy was standing behind me and we both stood dumbfounded. Oh well, we drank the coffee and enjoyed the biscuits! Soon the proprietor came by.

He said, "Thanks for puttin the money in the overnight box!" I told him that we didn't put any money in a box, that there was a man named Henry Holcombe who picked us up on a nearby dirt road after our car got stuck and he led us straight to this room and that someone would come by in the morning! The proprietor stood dumbfounded. He stated to chuckle kind of nervous like and then stated, "Henry Holcombe used to work for me, but he has been dead for 13 years!

All we could do was swallow real hard, thank the man and high tail it out of there! We found a tow truck, got our car and the whole way back to Atlanta was a conversation I will never, ever forget!

Date that this happened: OCTOBER 31,1975.

The Wineville Murders

This story takes place in a city which is now called Mira Loma in California, it use to be named Wineville but I will tell you why the name changed later.

I was eight years old when I had just moved into this old creepy house with my parents my two sisters and my two big dogs, a German Shepherd and a Rottweiler. When I lived in that house I always felt like something was watching me like I was never alone. But my parents seemed to like it especially since a friend of the family that was living there had let us stay there rent free as long as we took care of the place.

Ever since I was a little girl I've always had a bladder problem. When I had to go you had to get out of my way. I remember one night I woke up in the middle of the night needing to use the bathroom. I walked past my parents room down the hallway towards the bathroom. The door was a little bit open and I could see a shadow on the wall. I could see the shadow of a man. At first I thought it was maybe my dad but then I heard gurgling and choking noises as if he was spitting something out. It didn't sound like my dad. I then said aloud "who's there?" the noises then stopped. I opened the door to see no one in there. Seeing this sent chills down my spine. I had even forgot why I had got up to go to the bathroom and went back to bed.

Another night when I was in the backyard with my sister we were jumping on the trampoline when we heard horses hooves stomping on the ground. This confused us because our horses were always in their stalls by the afternoon. When we turned to where the noises were coming from we saw a headless man riding on horse. The horse had glowing red eyes and steam coming out of his nostrils. Me and my sister ran inside.

The most frightening memory I had of this house which still haunts me in my mind at times was when my aunt, uncle, and cousins came over to visit. It was around 11 at night. Me and my cousin that was my age were jumping outside when we heard crying and screams of boys. We looked at each other a bit frightened and looked around. By my trampoline there were two cages where my dogs would be kept since my cousin was terrified of big dogs. Behind my dogs cages was a white wall and a fence. I turned to look at my dogs, kind of seeking protection or comfort of some sort. Both of my dogs had their ears down and were barking out of control behind them. I turned my attention to the white wall where my dogs were barking at. I then saw a shadow of a man holding a boy up in the air by his hair. I could hear the cries and hysterical screams of the boy. I could see the shadow of the boy kicking at his attacker but from the shadow he wasn't even close to hitting him. I turned to my cousin to see if he was seeing what I was and I could see he was scared, his big eyes seemed even wider behind his glasses. I looked back at the shadows to see the man slowly pick up an axe and chop the boys head off from his body. As the man still held the head in his other hand and the body fell to the floor. We both stood there with our mouths open but no screams coming out. When we heard a chilling horrifying laugh surround my whole backyard it sent throughout all of my body. We both ran inside screaming bloody murder.

After telling my parents everything I had been experiencing in that house my parents tried to console us telling us it was probably our neighbor killing some chickens or something and they tried to use the excuse that it was my imagination about the bathroom and headless horseman incident. My two sisters hearing this conversation stepped forward and admitted they too had been experiencing bad things in that house that they had seen shadows walking outside their bedroom window at night time and hearing footsteps.

My younger sister one time fell on the concrete without tripping over anything and cracked her skull. She insisted something had pushed her. She felt unseen hands grab her and push her down hard. We didn't move out of that house right away and I still experienced weird things from time to time. Things that couldn't be explained but my parents still insisted there was always an explanation to everything. I think they just wanted us to feel more comfortable in that house since we all knew we were going to stay there for a little while longer. We moved out when I was 10 or 11 about five minutes away in the same city.

Three years in that hell hole we called home. I'm now 18 and when I was 17 last year I learned of a movie called "changeling". After I watched that movie and learned where I live use to be called Wineville. In this house or ranch, a man named Northcutt use to live there in the 1920s. He would kidnap, molest, torture, and then kill little boys in his backyard. It is now named Mira Loma because of bad publicity. I'm certain now what I saw in that old house of mine was because of this and it chills every bone in my body to know I lived and slept in the same house where all these bloody and gruesome acts happened.

Ghost Friend in my Bedroom

Me and my family decided to move into a larger house together with my four siblings. As we came into our new home, I had a creepy feeling that there was something hideous waiting for us in that scary white mansion buried deep in the woods. I looked at my older siblings and asked them, "Do you feel anything scary about that house?" My oldest sister, Adeliene, gave me a funny look and said, "Are you kidding? That house is great. So huge! Wait until you see our rooms. I am so excited to see mine!" My mouth hung open. My brother Brian stared at me with a "sorry" look.

We finally made it into our new home. As we unloaded our luggage, I swear I saw something moving from the corner of my eye! I looked at the playground. No one was there. I was starting to get scared.

Adeliene, Brian, Madeliene, Kyle and me went up the third floor to see our rooms. I felt my room was colder than the others. I started to change into a new dress when, all of a sudden, my books fell off the bookcase. I swore I never moved them, nor had I seen someone else in my room. At dinner, I explained what happened this afternoon to my parents. My dad told me that I needed to adjust to my new environment so that I wouldn't feel scared. My mom said that same. The whole family, including me stayed up late to watch TV and hang out. I felt sleepy so I bid them goodnight and went up to my room.

As I climbed to my bed, I felt a roll of nausea but I ignored it. I saw a dark shadow in front of my bed and I screamed! I kept on screaming until I lost my voice. Quietly I asked, "Who are you? What do you want?" Then the shadow revealed a little ghost girl, about 10 years old. Her face was smiling and slowly I forgot the scary feeling. The ghost told me, "How do you like your new home?" I smiled and said, "Scary." I asked her where she came from and she told me this story:

"When I was still alive I moved in this house with my mother and father. Mother was a kind-hearted person who never failed to make this huge house clean. Father was a well-built man with a legendary temper. One day, my dad came home from work and I ran up to him, happy to see him home. He looked at me with eyes that haunted me until now. He shouted at me 'Never touch me again! You're not my daughter!' He went upstairs and went inside my parents' bedroom. He had an argument with my mom and he said words that changed my life change forever. 'You hear me? Listen to me, Ren! That girl downstairs isn't our daughter. Why did you let that girl inside?' My mom was sobbing, helpless. Finally father did something that made mom scream in agony. I cried and cried. Father went out of the room with blood stains on his clothes. Immediately I knew what he did. He killed my Mother. Father pointed a gun at me and shouted bad words. He finally fired the gun and I was killed."

I was amazed. I felt so sorry for the little girl. I told her "Do you want to be my friend?" She beamed and hugged me. We became friends and nothing scary happened ever again.

Attacked by an Evil Entity

This is an account of what happened to myself and others I have no proof or evidence to back up what I say so make of this what you will. First of all I am not a writer so spelling and punctuation is going to be all over the place. I am a 37 year old male from Australia. I am a machinist by trade and have been working in heavy industry for 20 years. I have worked in many mining towns over the country and currently run a machine shop that builds drill rigs, our company drills for minerals in 6 countries. I'm telling you this so you understand that I'm a very grounded, responsible man who is not easily rattled as I say I run a machine shop in a very hard industry that a lot of people cant cope with.

I am on your web site purely by chance and don't really have an interest in this subject. I am writing this mainly because I've told only one person about this and I tend to stay clear of this particular subject so again make of it what you will.

About seven years ago my younger brother (by 8 years) moved into a large flat with a guy he grew up with and another guy and his girlfriend who I'd only known for about six months. The flat had three bedrooms and was on the third floor of a five story complex. It was about a 15 minute walk to the beach in a well known suburb so the first time I visited him I was reasonably impressed and happy that he had a decent place to live as we were all originally from a poorer suburb.

I visited the next week and the girl (I don't want to use names) was telling us about her hair being touched or pulled. I cant remember the exact details as we were drinking and smoking pot, not to excess but just a normal get together, and just blamed the weed, had a laugh and didn't say anymore about it.

Two weeks later I got a call from my brother asking if I would come around to help move furniture with my car, it was a ford Ute or pick up. When I arrived he told me that the girl had moved out the previous night. I asked why and he said something about an argument with her boyfriend. She said someone was touching her stuff, things going missing, and she was also pissed because he didn't believe her about her hair being touched or pulled. But we didn't know that until later, we just thought it was a standard break up.

A week later the boyfriend moved out to be with the girlfriend and another person who is a close friend moved in so my car was needed once again to move furniture.

About two weeks later I visited again we had some drinks, went to the beach and later that evening friend "A" started telling me that he'd seen something on more than one occasion. Because we were drinking I thought he was having a bit of a joke but he swore blind he saw something like an outline of a shadow or something like that. I think he then said, "like in predator when its invisible its blurry when it moves". I laughed called him a dick head and told him its probably headlights from traffic as they were on a busy road. He said I was probably right and nothing more was said about it.

I was back a week later and the subject came up again now friend "A" is swearing blind he saw something again. So I started laughing at him again telling him to lay off the weed then friend "B" said he thinks he saw something also. I didn't believe them and thought they were having a laugh at my expense. I told them again about car headlights bouncing of signs and reflecting through the window.

He then got me to follow him to his room. He had aluminum foil on the window of his room and a fabric snake that stopped light getting in under the gap between the door and the floor it was completely dark, then they both told me they had been sitting in that room a night or two before and seen something. I said bullshit because I was older than them and thought there must be a logical reason so they asked me to sit in the room with them that night as I had to work I couldn't but set it up for the weekend.

There were about eight people the night I went back and my brother told me he had seen it also. My brother didn't believe them so "A" agreed to sit in the room with them. He told me the three of them were sitting either side of bed one in bed smoking pot waiting to see something he said friend "A" yelled, "there it is" and he swears he saw something.

I asked what they did and he told me they started asking it to come back offering it bongs asking it to lift things up, basically annoying it according to my brother and his friends, nothing happened so they got bored and went back to what they were doing. This happened two nights before I was there.

So this is what I saw. There were four of us, one on the bed the others on either side. I was on the left my brother to my left and friend B on the right so we started calling at whatever they saw calling it names telling it to do something. Nothing happened so we sat there talking between ourselves and taunting it for about a hour.

Then friend A handed me a joint (I had not smoked weed that day) and he lay back down on the bed. I asked for a light my brother to my left carries a Zippo and as he lit it the bed moved like some one was getting in or out of the bed really fast sort of jumping, I felt it because I was turned with my back against the bed anyway I lit the joint looked up at my brother and saw a look I've never seen before on his face I turned to the bed to see what he was looking at and the bed jumped again. I saw friend A get pushed into the bed and held down. You could see him sinking into the mattress. I jumped up in a panic and screamed at my brother to turn on the light as he was closest to the door. He just stood there, lighter still on, the guy on the bed started making choking sounds and the guy on the right was trying to get him up. He yelled at me to help so I grabbed him by the arm I could feel something pushing him down (I saw him the next day and he had bruises around his neck).

Meanwhile my brother burned his thumb from the lighter, ran to the light switch, turned it on and the thing let go. We all ran as fast as we could to the car park. Friend A was ok, shaken up but not hurt. None of us wanted to step foot in there again but we left our keys, wallets, and money so all of us had to go back. Nothing happened and my brother and I went back the next day to pick up his stuff, again nothing happened, but I was scared to death. We never really talked about it, we decided it wasn't worth the ridicule. When people asked why they moved out they said they were evicted for noise. I've still never seen a ghost and don't really want to. I don't claim to know anything about this subject but whatever it was knew exactly what it was doing.

Chased by an Evil Ghost

I was thirteen at the time. I was at my best friends house. It was Me, (I am not going to use my friends real names because they really don't want me to so I am sorry!) Rose, Becca, and Alice. Well we were all hanging out at Alice's house we were going to stay the night.

Well Alice lives next to this old house where a man went insane. Thinking that the walls of the house were breathing and that voices were coming from furniture. One night he was taking a bath and he thought the water turned into blood. Well he couldn't take it anymore so he ran and jumped off a bridge and killed himself. No one ever moved back into the house.

Well me and my friends were bored out of our minds. Alice's mother and brother weren't supposed to be back until eight o'clock that night. So we decided to play hide and seek. Me and Alice were counting and our rules are you can hide anywhere. No sooner than me and Alice were done counting than Rose and Becca come bursting in the back door screaming! Then an overwhelming feeling of sorrow and pain came over the house. "What did you do?" Alice and I screamed. "W...We went into that haunted house. The back door was open so we went in. And someone yelled "GET OUT" so we ran," said Rose.

Well Me, Alice and Rose had always been a little more sensitive to ghosts and spirits (I live next to a graveyard and we have all seen ghosts and spirits). We could feel something evil in the house. It was down stairs in her brothers room. We all went down there to try to get it out of the house. We all prayed well that just made it mad. It chased us so we ran outside. It was still after us so we ran back inside to get some salt and make a protective circle. Only before we could the ghost over took Alice. Alice dropped to the floor. Rose and Becca dragged her into the bathroom while I grabbed the salt. I took off my silver necklace (Silver and salt can keep ghosts away and protect you) and put it on Alice. I spread salt every where in the bathroom (That was the smallest room and would be the fastest room to clean up before her mom got home!) Then I put the salt all over Alice and we prayed. Then there was a calm feeling around the house and Alice woke up. She was fine and so were we. We cleaned up every thing before her mom or brother got home. We never told anyone not even Alice's mom. That spirit has never bothered us again.

Thanks for reading and comments appreciated!

The Girl in White

He was sulking a little, standing at the sidelines while all the other men danced with their pretty partners. His girl had not come to the dance that night. Her mother was ill, and so his girl had remained at her side. A fine pious act, he thought sourly, but it left him at loose ends.

His friend, Ernesto, came up to him between sets with a cold drink and some words of encouragement. "After all, Anita is not the only girl in the world," Ernesto said. "There are many pretty girls here tonight. Dance with one of them."

Bolstered by his friend's words, he started looking around the dance hall. His eye fell upon a beautiful young girl standing wistfully at the edge of the floor beside the door to the terrace. She was dressed in an old-fashioned white gown and her skin was pale as the moon. Her dark eyes watched the dance hungrily from her position behind a tall fern, and he felt his heart beat faster. Such a lovely woman should be dancing!

He made his way through the bustling crowd and bowed to the girl in white. She looked startled by his addresses, as if she had not expected anyone to notice her that night. But she readily assented to dance with him, and he proudly led her out onto the floor for the next set, all thoughts of Anita gone from his mind.

Ernesto and some of his other friends gave him odd looks as he danced with the girl in white. A few times, the man opposite them bumped right into them as if he had not seen his partner at all. He was furious and wanted to stop the dance and make the man apologize to the girl in white, but she just laughed and hushed him.

When the dance was over, he hurried to get his fair partner a drink. Ernesto approached him at the refreshment table. "When I told you to dance, I meant with a partner," his friend teased him.
"I was dancing with a partner," he replied, irritated by his friends remark. "The loveliest girl in all of Mexico!" "You've had too much to drink, my friend," Ernesto replied. "You were dancing by yourself out there!" He glared at his friend and turned away without answering him. Making his way back to the girl in white, he handed her a glass and asked her to stroll with him along the terrace. The night was beautiful, the sky full of stars, and he stared at the girl in white with his heart in his eyes as they stood looking out over the beautiful scene.

The girl in white turned to him with a sigh and said: "Thank you for the dance, Senor. It has been a very long time since I had such pleasure." "Let us dance again, then," he said infatuatedly. But she shook her head. "I must leave now," she said, catching up her skirts with one hand and drifting toward the stairs at the side of the terrace. "Please don't go," he pleaded, following her. "I must," she said, turning to look at him. Her eyes softened when she saw the look on his face. "Come with me?" she invited, holding out a pale hand.

His heart pounded rapidly at the thought. More than anything in the world, he wanted to go with this lovely girl. And then his mind registered the fact that he could see the stone wall of the terrace through the girl's hand. His desire melted away before the shock of that realization. He looked into her face again, and realized that she was fading away before his eyes. At the look of horror on his face, the girl gave a sad laugh and dropped her hand, which was nearly transparent now. "Goodbye," she said, her body becoming thin and misty. "Goodbye." Then she was gone.
He gave a shout of terror when he realized he had been dancing with a ghost. He bolted from the premises, leaving his horse behind, and ran all the way home.

When Ernesto came the next day to bring him his horse, he told his friend the whole story. Ernesto whistled in awe. "You saw the spirit of Consuela, my friend," he said. "She was the daughter of one of the local aristocracy who lived in this region more than a hundred years ago. She died of consumption the night before her first ball and they say her spirit sometimes attends the local dances, hoping to claim one of the dances that she missed."

He shuddered at the thought of his dance with the ghost. "I will not be visiting that dance hall again," he told Ernesto. "From now on, all my dances will be with Anita!"
And he kept his word.

The Little Girl from Hell

The girl in our house is playing hide and seek and she's no angel.

Me and my mom and two little sisters just moved in to a new house. The story of the house was about a Doctor who made the house into a little hospital. So one day me and my mom took my two little sisters to boarding school. When me and my mom came back from the boarding school we felt that something wasn't right, so that night, when we were unpacking our stuff me and my mom heard a girls voice, she said "Find me I'm hiding, Come mom Lets Play."

When we heard that, we thought that's really strange because my sisters aren't at home and its just me and my mom. So we went and looked around in the house for any sign of what we just heard. Well when me and my mom crossed the hall we saw I little figure. What we saw was no imaginary thing, this was the real deal. The next thing we noticed is that our bedroom door is closed and we knew that we didn't closed it our selves. So when me and my mom went to that bedroom door, I reached out and grabbed the knob, but when I did it the door wouldn't budge, and then we heard a horrible scream. That was really awful, I almost ran a door in to a wall... no jokes.

Well the next morning we went and we found a sweater laying under the table in the living room, and then the little girl starts to play hide and seek. Every time I could hear her little voice saying "I'm hiding mom, Come find me" And then the doors began to slam shut and the table in the living room starts to move across the floor, it creeped me and my mom out.

After that I was so scared that I didn't even want to sleep in that house. Neither of us wanted to stay there anymore But soon after we decided that we didn't want to live there anymore, we couldn't get out of the house, we tried to break windows and break down the doors but nothing helped, we were trapped in our new house. If it were you, you wouldn't even go there to look at that house, its really creepy and that little girl isn't a friendly one she is a bad, bad, bad, ghost. The girl tried to lock me in, in my own room, she played with my porcelain dolls and if I tried to take them away she would scream and make things even worse.

Friends or family can't even come and visit, this little girl always messed things up. Like one day I got a little puppy, the sweetest thing ever. She would literally kick the dog and bite his ears. The poor dog died after all that has happened to him.

Eventually we could move out of that house, but it didn't stop that little girl from finding us and making our lives even worse than before. Guys and girls if you ever come upon such a thing, never try to convince them that it is your house and you want her to leave. That didn't help us at all.

She was with us until last year 2008. We lived with this little girl for almost three years, then one day she just disappeared and we never saw her again. This was my story about the little girl who played hide and seek but she was no angel, she was the little girl from hell.

Old Lady and the Blood

It was the summer of 2001 and my family and I had gone to the Dominican Republic to visit my family out there. It was a sunny day when we arrived at the airport. Once we came out of the airport, we got in a taxi and they took us to our town where we were going to be for a week. Later that day, we ate lunch and then we talked for a while. We were recalling the fun times when something fell in the kitchen. It sounded like a plate fell.

We all hurried over and there was blood over all the plates but the plates were not broken. My grandmother picked up the plates and threw them away. At night, we all went for a ride in the camp near our house. This camp was very cold at nights an very windy in the daytime. We were passing this house which had been abandoned by this old lady. As we were passing it, I saw a figure inside the window and I told my dad. He said that it was my imagination and that it as seeing things.

As we were going to leave the camp, the car stopped abruptly and my father that had been driving screamed. I got so scared and we all got out of the car. He said that there was a little old lady standing in the middle and that he stopped the car abruptly. He checked under that car and there was nothing. I then said that I thought that I was the one imagining things. My dad said to stop and that we are going to go home quick.

We got home and when we entered the house, there was a little old lady. She had white hair, red gloss and a big old yellow dress. I screamed so hard that I peed in my pants. The lady then opened her mouth and blood started to pour out. I then tried to kick the lady and then she disappeared. My mom and dad came running over and asked what had happened. I told them and we decided to stay at a friends house over that night and go back in the morning. We stayed at out neighbors and the night went fast.

We went back the next morning and everything was good until we saw the body of the little lady on the floor. She was dead. She was very old and when we went to the kitchen to get a body bag, she wasn’t there when we came back.

A few years later, we found out that the lady died in the 1950’s and that she was going all over the towns trying to find her little son that died because he was mentally challenged. Since then people have reported that she still roams around and that she doesn’t bother anyone anymore.

Love And Death A Legend From Laos

I heard this story from the elders that told me.

A long time ago way back in Laos, there were two lovers (forgot their real names). One day the guy wants to go to school far away in a city for a year. The guy told her that he'll be back in a year, if he doesn't come back, then that means that someone has killed him on his way home or on his way there. The guy left her and she cried as she watched him go.

A year passed by and the guy had not returned. So she thought that someone killed him. She soon enough, killed herself to be with him. When the guy's parents and the girl's parents were going to bury her, her spirit wouldn't let them. So, they left her body in her house. Her parents got scared of her body in the house, so they moved and left her body in the house. After the girl killed herself the guy came home and didn't know that the girl has killed herself.

He came home and told his parents that he's going to go to his girlfriend's house and see her and they're going to get married. His parents told him that his girlfriend killed herself. He did not believe them. His parents told him that her body is in the house alone. They both stopped him before he goes there and visit her. He said to them that he won't go see the girl anymore. So his parents believed him.

At night he sneaked out and left to see his girlfriend. It was dark and quiet. There he is, the house that his girlfriend's body is inside. He knocked on the door and his girlfriend opened it (She is just a ghost now). He told himself that his parents are lying to him. He went in the house and they talked.

The girl asked her boyfriend why he was gone so long. He said that he did not complete some things and just hadn't come home. The guy said that it's getting late and they both should go to bed. The girl agreed with him and they both went to bed. Him, laying in bed, smelling something like a dead person (it was really dark). He doesn't know what it is and also it was cold. He told his girlfriend that the house is cold and he couldn't sleep. So, he told his girlfriend that he is going to put on a fire to keep the house warm (back in Laos we don't have ovens so we use a fire place as an oven to cook our food). He lit the fire but his girlfriend blew it out. He lit the fire and she blew it out again. This was repeated three times. He couldn't see his girlfriend's face because it was so dark. So the fourth time he tried it worked. His girlfriend wouldn't turn her face to the fire. So, he got an idea. He blew the fire towards his girlfriend. There it was, the face of an ugly dead person. He got scared. His girlfriend didn't know that he knew. He lied to his girlfriend saying that he needs to go pee. His girlfriend told him that if he is going to go pee he needs to tie a string or something to her so he wouldn't run away. So he did. He went out side and pretended that he was peeing. He saw a bucket of water and hung it on the tree to sound like he is peeing. He tied the string to the bucket and left.

He ran and ran as hard as he could. His girlfriend back at the house waiting for him to be done peeing. She called out to him saying "What's taking you so long? If you're taking so long, then I'm going to come over there." No reply. She went over to the place where her boyfriend was and saw that he was gone. She got really mad and ran after him. She was faster than him.

The guy heard the girl's voice calling for him saying "Come back and stay with me. Don't you love me anymore? Why are you so mean? You told me that you'll come back and stay with me!" He knew that she was getting closer to him. So, he found a big tree and climbed up there. As he was there, he saw a koala (a long time ago, we Hmong believed that animals knew how to talk), he asked the koala if he could borrow his fur to cover him so she wouldn't know him and he would give the koala his clothes. The koala was nice and gave him his fur coat.

The girl came running by and stopped at the tree and saw him which was just the koala. She said, "Come down. I won't eat you. If you don't come down then I will come and get you and eat you." The koala refused. She jumped and grabbed the koala and ate him. When she was done, she said, "This is not my boyfriend. He does not smell like this," so she left the tree. The guy slept in the tree until morning. He came down and ran home as fast as he could.

He came home crying and frightened. His parents asked him what happened and he told them that he was sorry for not listening to them. So they called in a shaman to come and cure him from the fright and the spirit of his girlfriend from following him. The Shaman told the guy's parents that they have to change his name so she wouldn't find him.

A couple of years passed: One pretty morning, the guy's friends and him went picking apples. One of his friends forgot and called him by his old name that he used to have. After that day, he got really sick and died. His girlfriend came back for him because she found him finally.
This true story is about not to promise or say anything that is really serious to your girlfriend/boyfriend because you never know when you're going to die. And the promises that you two make will keep going until you both die.

One Hell Of A House

I was around 10 years old and we had moved into a house in town that was surprisingly "cheap" and all four of us had wished we made some second thoughts.

The very first night we moved in there I passed out and I remember waking up around 1 in the morning and I heard my mom call my name so I got up and went to her room. She was laying down in bed watching a movie and had asked me to go bring something downstairs so I made my way to the staircase and at the bottom of the stairs I saw my mom. I froze for a second and when she got to the top of the stairs I followed her to her room and no one was in there. I didn't say anything because my mom doesn't believe in that sort of thing but anyway I went back to my room and walked towards the window. I opened up the blinds and there was a skeletal face in the window. I jumped back and screamed I heard my mom come in the room behind me and she said "is everything alright?" I turned around and she wasn't there. At that point I nearly crapped my pants and left the room.

I fell asleep again but this time on the couch. I woke up a couple hours later because I heard a scraping like noise. I turned the light on and just across the room I saw black fingers crawl out from underneath the dresser and there was no way someone was doing that because the dresser was flat on the floor. I hid under my blanket scared out of my mind when all of a sudden my sister comes running down the stairs and said the piece of gum she was chewing had floated out of her mouth and stuck to the ceiling. It was too much, we both went to go tell my mom and in front of my moms door was a lady with really long black hair. We both didn't know what to do so we just stood there. Over the next couple of seconds the figure's head had hit the floor and disintegrated as if it was made out of a fine dust.

We called 911 but when they got there, there was no dust on the floor, no fingers under the dresser and no gum on the ceiling. My mom thought we were going nuts. After the cops left we haven't seen or heard anything then Monday came you can believe me when I say we got out the door for school. Around lunch time in school we were picked up by my mom. She looked startled and wouldn't tell me what's wrong. We went back to the house and she said to pack up because we were going back to live with grandpa. So we started to pack things back into the car. My mom was really pushing us to get out of there.

Moments before we left the front door slammed shut in front of us and we heard a very loud banging sound coming from the basement door along with a horrible scream. We ran out of the house and drove off to grandpas. The entire way my mom kept telling us never to say anything to anyone and that it wasn't anything we should worry about. Its been seven years since and in those seven years I've learned that three people were murdered in that house and one person had committed suicide if my story is posted you will have been the first to hear it.
