Talking Ernie Doll Scare

Thank you for reading my story. In April of this year, it was a cold night night and my father and his wife were out and I don't like being alone, so I decided to call one of my friends to keep my mind off of being alone.

Since it is warmer down in their area of the house, I walked into their living room. When you go down into that area of our house, you have to walk through an office room and there are two doorways that go from that room into two other rooms. One doorway leads into the living room and the other leads into the other kids' bedroom (the kids were with my dad and his wife).

While I was sitting in the living room talking on the phone, I heard someone say "I feel great!"! My body froze for what felt like 10 or 15 minutes but was probably only 10 seconds. I snapped out of my trance when I heard it again and while I was trying to remain as calm as I could, inside I was freaking out.

My friend asked if I was ok and I asked her to please stay on the phone with me while I checked the house. As I stood up, I heard a loud snoring sound! I took 5 steps and then I heard "I feel great!" again. This time, my friend on the other line heard it too and asked what that noise was, but I didn't say anything yet.

I was trying to be quiet in case somebody was in my house. I walked into the office room, and didn't see anything that could possibly be making that sound. The second I turned by back so that I could look into the playroom, I heard "I feel great!" right behind me! I turned and saw my brothers' sleep and snore Ernie doll propped up in a corner facing me. It started snoring while I was staring at it. I ran out of that room and into the main living room, slamming the door shut. About 5 minutes later, I heard Ernie say he felt great about three more times, even through the shut door.

The next morning, I told my father about it and he said maybe the battery was dying or it's motion activated but his wife tried everything she could think of and the doll was silent. Then, she pressed her fingers into its' stomach and he announced that he felt great. I have heard that there was a child that died in our house before we lived there, and we have had previous experiences with its' spirit and other spirits before.

Please comment and tell me what you think!

The Scary Porcelain Doll

That house. That night. That room. That child...

It all began when we moved into our new house. Settled in, everything was going great. One night when my parents had gone out, I had watched a few movies, put my younger brother to bed and fancied an early night myself. Lying in bed that night, the strangest, most unexplainable thing happened.

The clammy fingertips brushing my arm and the sound of breathing in my ear seemed like the most unusual thing that could have happened. As I lay in bed drifting into unconsciousness, a warm breath blew on my neck. My eyes shot open as I sensed I was not alone. The blackness echoed with emptiness and as I turned on the light, my eyes confirmed it. Thinking I was just overtired, I returned to my bed. That's when I felt the small hands gripping my arm. My body froze in fear as I heard a quiet wail, and all I could think about was my brother's safety. Stumbling to his room, I cried his name with panic. My brother remained asleep in his bed and I felt I was all alone, and relief also washed over me.

The next day, the events of that night confused yet recurred in my mind. I explained the strange happenings to my parents, in which they thought it was a dream of some sort. That was until I went into my bedroom and found that little white porcelain doll lying under my bed, just staring at me. Checking that it was not one of my brother's friends just trying to scare me, I figured that nobody had anything to do with it.

After that night, my thoughts faded over the years but in a small corner of my mind they remained playing over and over. When I reached my 17th birthday, a friend recalled a small hand on her arm in my house. After hearing that a few of my other friends had experienced this too, I started to remember.

Going up into my attic to store some old photos, a newspaper dated 15th May, 1901 caught my eye. "SCHOOL DEMOLISHED AFTER MURDERED PUPIL DISCOVERED at 158 Figmore Terrace"

Doll Comes to Life at Night

My little sister's 7th birthday is today and we went to Wal-Mart to go shopping for her. My parents were doing something else so they gave me money and I went to buy a present. I was strolling through the girl toys when I found this baby doll. She had a white bonnet on with pink pajamas. It was a special sales day, so I decided to buy it. There were a lot of other girl things but my sister is really into dolls. So I bought the doll and I took it home and wrapped it. My parents were home because they were planning a special surprise party for her.

So my sister came home from her friends house at around 6:00 and we had cake and ice cream then we opened presents. Her last present was mine. She opened it and gasped, and she hugged me and said she will take good care of it. Well, she never departed from it. She carried it wherever she went. She even took it to school and let it sit on her desk. Every night I hear her talking to it, like she has a special relationship with it that she made up. She falls asleep at about 10:00 every night. This is when the weird stuff starts happening.

My sister put the doll in her doll's crib, but when she woke up, the doll wasn't in the crib and she was on her desk. She got mad at ME because she thought I moved her. But I said I never went into her room. So she just took the doll and went downstairs.

The next night, I heard her in her room moaning and groaning because she was uncomfy. (Our rooms are right next door) when she woke up, she was IN the doll crib and the doll was on the desk again. She hopped out and put the doll in her crib and said, "You have to stay in there for the night!" That was the first time she left her doll there. The next night we all woke up to a beeping sound. There was smoke EVERYWHERE. Me and my sister ran downstairs and my dad was putting out a stove fire. We were cleaning up when we found, the doll in the remains of the fire. It had lost its paint, its eyes, and its arm melted off. My sister started crying because she really loved her doll and it was like a sister to her. So we threw the doll out. My sister then bought a new doll. She named it Emily again. She made up an even better relationship with her new doll then the other one. Well, the other doll must have gotten mad, because when she woke up, the burned doll was in the crib, and her good new one was missing.

So after this weirdness, my sister lost interest in dolls. She is now 14. But in the attic there is still the burnt doll. Every night upstairs we hear like light footsteps and voices. We rarely go up in the attic anymore but she will never forget her 7th birthday.
