I Saw a Vampire in Kentucky Twice

OK here goes nothing. When I was about 11 years old, it was a typical school day and following night. I went to bed as usual and a couple of hours later I woke up to see a man standing in front of my window. The odd thing was his eyes, even though it was dark and the street lights were shining behind him I could still see his eyes. The rest of him was in shadow. We locked eyes for a few minutes and then I pulled the covers over my head. The next day I pulled the blinds and never opened them again.

A couple of years later we moved to a different house and when I was 16 he came to me again. I know for sure that it was him. It was an unconscious thing, a sort of connection.

I found out later on through years of research and thinking that I was a nut case that he began my awakening. This is a term that us vamps use that means our vampire within is brought forth. I had no idea before this that I would ever be a vampire let alone believe it.

Now as far as my visitor goes I believe that he was a full-fledged vamp were I am what I call a mortal vampire. I don't know about the life length of a full vamp. I just know about what I am. If you have any questions please ask and please don't judge.

Crazy Vampire Dreams

I swear I'm going crazy. I guess I'll start off like this. I've always been attracted to vampires. I've been fascinated with blood, and apparently, all blood-sucking creatures are just as fascinated with mine; it's a family thing, I suppose, all insects just love to taste our blood - especially mine.

I've been gifted with a few strange abilities, one is to be loved by mainly anything.. animals, humans... though an exception is snakes and things who have lost the ability to love. Animals seem to be more calm when they are around me, they just come up to me, wild animals too. I could take a walk, and butterflies will be constantly around me. I've been gifted with music. All of my musical teachers say I have much more talent than any student they'd ever had. Though, I'm too lazy to practice. I've learned to play the piano, guitar, violin, and now the cello. Two other ones are singing, and art.  But one talent just scares me.

I think I'm crazy, but I know what's going to happen in the future, and I can tell what has happened in the past. I have dreams that keep coming true. Scary ones, that are frightfully accurate. I do not want to go into details, unless needed. My dreams are always very realistic, I can remember once, when I was in 5th grade, I had a dream of being stabbed, and when I woke up, it truly felt like I had gotten stabbed. Of course, only as of recent my dreams have been coming true.

People think that I'm gorgeous. I get told that a lot, but I don't give that much notice, since every girl gets told that. They say I have really pretty (some think they are scary) big dark brown eyes - which some call black. I do like my pretty, long, wavy, dark brown hair, though. My skin is always very very cold, I don't know why. I went to the doctor because I thought maybe I was anemic, or maybe thyroid issues, but that is not the case. I'm perfectly healthy. My eyes are very light sensitive, as well, my eye doctor said that I have some of the most light sensitive eyes he has seen. I should add that I have bad eyesight, so as not to lead you on. I will not claim to be a vampire, since well, both of my parents are human, which means I'm human too.

But despise all that, I wouldn't say I'm an above-average-amazing girl. I'm horrible at sports and math, To top it all off, I'm short. So I have no clue why these dreams keep coming to me. They are so real. It is of this tall, handsome vampire, coming for me, wanting to marry me. Some people would be flattered, but I know better than to be. I guess I will get asked many times of his appearance. Lets start off with body structure. He was very big... a giant (no, not in the obese way) I have no idea how tall he was... just about seven feet... buff, very buff. He has long, dark silk-like hair that came down to the middle of his back, with black stern eyes, long fingers and nails... I think he might've had fangs I'm not sure, but he had shiny pearl teeth with small flushed pink lips. He's always wearing a suit, who knows why. Probably what he explained to me in the dream of what he was in the "vampire world"? I guess?

I will talk about my first dream, which I can not make sense of. Some might say it was of the past, but I do not believe in past lives, or anything of that sort. It was of mansion, filled with vampires in hiding, since we were all sought after by people who hated us. The mansion was owned by a young, vampire aristocrat-ish person. He took in all the sane vampires he could fine and me and my vampire lover (which looks oddly like the vampire I had in my recent dreams - except younger) and put us into the middle of his mansion, which was a forest, in a sort of dome-like place. We all had powers some were more like magicians, making the trees float, and sometimes killing each other. We remained in the dome for years, until the people stopped hunting for vampires, and years later, the magnificent mansion was torn down. I remember at the end of the dream, I was around 23 to 24, and my lover said that he would come back for me. I remember growing old waiting for him, and later died at 65.

My most recent dream was two days ago. It was of me sleeping in my mom's bed, and a murderer had snuck into my house. I remember not being afraid, though the person, who was a light-skinned 25-year old with a mustache, came closer and closer to the bed with a knife. I remember the window was opened, but my vampire came through the wall instead, with a mad expression on his face, he was bigger than anyone could imagine, as big as goliath from the Bible, I would suppose. What he did was gruesome. You can imagine what had happened to this man. I remembered the vampire looking at me with a smile afterwards, bloody smile, saying, "I will come back for you"... If he means what he says, he better do it this time, and not let me die first. But of course, in my dream, I kinda wondered what he was... of course he was a vampire, but not a regular one, you could tell easily by looking at him. He was some important vampire. I remember him describing the vampire world as having leaders, such as us humans have. He was not the president, but more of a Speaker of the House I think that's what he said... He said every year was a day to a vampire.  He said we would be married in 20 years... but I remember telling him that I didn't want to look like I was 35 for the rest of my life, so he told me if I wanted I could look younger. I woke up after that. But I can sense him all around me. I don't think I should believe in these things, but I do.

So this is why I came to this website, I do not know if this will do me any good at all, but I just need to know if this makes sense to anyone but me.

Possible Vampire Sighting in Seattle

Over the holiday period, 3 days before New Year (2010), my girlfriends and I decided to explore Seattle’s nightlife. I have lived in Seattle for the last 4.5 years but have not really investigated the city’s nightlife, much to my girlfriends’ annoyance. My girlfriends are fully aware of this fact and begrudgingly I went on the pub crawl.

After hours of trudging through the cold night, visiting many bars, we finally discovered a bar in Belltown which was located down an alleyway. I don’t know the name of the bar, it was dark and I wasn’t attentive at this point. This was our final destination and I was relieved. I was the designated driver and I had stopped drinking several hours earlier, so I wasn’t feeling the euphoria which was shared by my girlfriends, in fact I was miserable!

I remember the entryway to the bar had two stone steps; I stubbed my toe on one of them as I ascended the stairs which is why I remember. The interior was dark; it was small, packed full of punters and a very sticky floor. We managed to push our way to the bar and ordered some drinks. We stood near the bar, the place was heaving, my girlfriends had already consumed the first lot of refreshments and they were drinking like a fish, so it was the best place for us to stand.

I pushed my way to the bar a second time to get the girls more drinks. Whilst I was stood at the bar, I was flanked on the right by a group of men who were loud and crass and to my left was a man probably 6 foot tall or so, with dark short hair and wearing a grey tee-shirt. I didn’t pay much attention to anyone as my focus was to attract the bartender so I could order the drinks.

The man on my left spoke to me but I couldn’t decipher what I heard. I turned to look at his face and his stare was quite piercing. II noticed he had really dark eyes, but then he was back lit so part of his face was cast in shadow.  He then touched my shoulder and said something. At first I couldn’t interpret what he was trying to say. There was too much noise, music blaring, punters talking and laughing, it just sounded like a roar, until he touched my shoulder and the noise just drifted away, similar to when one inserts earplugs to reduce noise. At first I couldn’t comprehend what happened. I think I was dazed for a minute or so, and then he started to speak again and I could hear him. He asked for my name and I provided my real name without thinking, then he asked who my friends were. The chit chat carried on for a couple of minutes and then he told me he was a vampire. I scoffed at the statement, and then he showed me his teeth. His teeth were nice actually, bright and shiny and he had slight elongated canines. I didn’t believe him, I thought the teeth were glued on and thought my girlfriends must have bribed him to poke fun at my skeptical nature. I asked him if he likes to role-play as a vampire and became quite persistent in questioning. He was adamant he was a vampire and got frustrated so I asked him to prove it.

He said he could bite me to prove it, but I rejected that idea. I am not naive to think blood disorders can’t be passed on through a bite. He mentioned he knew where I was from, (which I thought was easy since I have a British accent), where I work and roughly where I live now.  I was astounded when he clearly stated I was from the north of England, northern coast, near Blackpool, (actually I was born in Preston, Lancashire, which is 15 minutes from Blackpool). He stated I worked for an aerospace company and that I lived 40 minutes south of Seattle. He mentioned that I was married (the married part was obvious, I had my wedding rings on) and then he stated that I had a little girl.  At this revelation, I was truly nervous; I didn’t believe he was a vampire, but a stalker. He knew too much about me. I wondered how he knew I had a little girl. I was actually panicking at this stage. I quickly walked away and pushed my way back to my friends; I didn’t turn around to look at him and quickly told my friends what occurred. We left the bar within minutes. We had to walk a little and as we approached the car park, my friends noticed the “Vampire” from the bar, standing next to a bus shelter. I quickly ushered my friends into the car park and got out of Seattle as fast as I could drive, hoping he didn’t get a chance to see the license plate number.

Over the past couple of weeks I have been questioned a multitude of times by my friends and have been asked to inspect every single aspect of that night. The night in question, I was cold stone sober so I know what I saw and heard. However, I am still dubious he was a vampire, but I am not sure what he was. I was definitely astonished that he knew so much about me. I can’t explain how he knew so much. I am essentially a foreigner in this country and don’t have much information spread everywhere as most U.S. citizens.  It is hard to track me unless you have access to immigration databases.

Anyway, this is my weird story, you can interpret this tale how you wish. I, on the other hand, have learned to be more careful about the places I visit in the future.

Vampires and Secrecy

Ok first of all I support what Marishka says because it’s true. Samantha, if you are truly a Vampire you do not let yourself be known to society like that, you put all of our kind in danger. If you tell people that you’re a true Vampire they might find you and kill you like Marishka said. Don’t take immortality for granted because we can be killed, I’m not saying how though, I’m not stupid like a lot of people here that say everything about us.

People have to stop thinking that we’re evil and stuff like that because it’s not true. Some of us are actually very noble and kind. We pity the humans because they do not understand our kind and ways. I’ve read a lot of articles here about people confused if they could be Vampires just because they have a lot of knowledge about them. Well it’s not true just because you know a lot about us does not mean you are one of us.

I really appreciate how you’re curious about our kind but a lot of our ancestors have been killed because of stupid humans because they can’t keep their mouth shut if they know a Vampire. I only trust other Vampires and Half-Breeds and if you don't know what a Half-Breed is well it’s a half Vampire and something else like Vampire-Human, Vampire-Lycan (which is really hard to be one and really rare). There’s actually a lot of Vampire-Humans because one of their parents is a Vampire and the other is a Human so they are born a Half-Breed. It’s really rare to be a Vampire-Lycan though and honestly I feel sorry for you because being two different kind of creatures that are sworn enemies is really hard.

A lot of Humans despise us because they do not understand our ways and yes we could destroy the Human race but we’re scared… why? Well simply because they have stronger weapons and a lot more technology then before. My mom once told me that in the 1700s and 1800s all the Humans had to come after us were wooden stakes, pitchforks, torches and stuff like that but now Humans have guns and stuff.

If you think you’re a Vampire because you have a lot of similarities with our kind hit me up. I’ll be glad to answer your questions but with one condition: YOU HAVE TO EARN MY TRUST if you want me to answer your questions. Also please don’t ask me stupid questions like how do you kill a Vampire because of course I will not answer that I don’t want to put my Vampire friends, family members, and/or fellow Vampires out there!

Vampires - Can there be Proof?

The myths and legends that are researched to make theories date back far into the past, and yet, their isn’t enough evidence to be able to say vampires exist as a fact. It’s a mystery we can’t shake after all these years. I believe vampirism is an idea that will never be proven, at least not online, and that is the only worldwide connection we all share. There are some posters on here that believe in vampirism based on personal experiences, and that is pretty much the only way to write it in stone. But with the internet, you don’t have that assurance. Videos can be faked, along with pictures, and when it comes to forums… well, that just turns into “he said, she said”. As a whole, it’s a mystery eternal.

I can’t put faith or belief in the existence of vampires, but what place do I have to say they don’t exist. However, I do understand that the media gives people (specifically younger people) the fascination of vampires. The dreams of vampirism, if that’s understandable.

People post comments on here straight up claiming they are a vampire, and notice how there is always at least one skeptic. Now, obviously, we’re dealing with the internet, and when we get right down to it, it can’t be proven. In the end, it’s left to faith, or an open-mind… but to come to a decision on whether they exist or not, as the title of the article asks… it can’t be left up to open-mindedness. You either accept the possibility or not. Seeing as how there is no middle ground online, stating that you are a vampire or giving scenarios showing signs is pretty much irrelevant… unless of course, you just want to share your dreams and experiences. And maybe people only post these things because having someone else believe them makes them feel good… and maybe that will just drag them deeper into their dream… or experience.

I guess the main point I want to get across is this, and I use an example:

We see a black or white person, and we acknowledge them to be black or white. It’s fact, and we accept it. The idea of vampirism taking the place of either of those examples is impossible, because of the media. It can never be accepted worldwide that vampires exist or don’t exist. So what is left… but to grab on to a dream. That is all vampirism will truly be.

Samantha The Real Vampire

Some of you have probably seen me on other posts. So I decided to make one of my own so it will be easier to answer your questions. As most of you know I am a real vampire. And I thrive for humans to know about me. Maybe some of you would like to know about my life. Okay so I will tell you about it. What I can remember anyways.

I was born in the 1800's and I am 144 years old. I was turned at 17. When I first woke up in the strange place where my "maker" left me I didn't know what happened. I thought maybe I had been kidnapped and the person left me. I was sweating really badly and I had blood all over my neck and chest. I tried to find my way back home but I couldn't remember, I couldn't remember anything I had done before I woke up. The only thing I could remember was my name. Someone found me where I was and brought me home.

They had all kinds of doctors to try and see what was wrong with me but they couldn't figure out what was wrong. And personally I didn't know what was wrong with me. Time passed and I never aged. I still looked 17 as they said.

They soon started accusing my family of being witches. But that soon went away. More years passed and my mother grew older and my father. But I was still "17" even though I should be a lot older. Soon enough my mother died. And soon after my father. I was an only child so I had no one else. I lived alone and in abandoned houses. I didn't need to eat so that was no problem. But I liked blood. And at the time I didn't know why.

Many years passed and soon enough I began researching and looking up things. And I found one thing I never thought twice about me being; I was a vampire. This was strange to me. Because like most of you I didn't believe in things like that. I thought it was stupid and ignorant. But sure enough that's what I was. And soon I found every file they had of me and got rid of it. So I never existed. If you tried to look me up you wouldn't find me.

Years later I met my best friend Makailey and told her what I was and I moved in with her and I have lived there for three years. Before I met her I was traveling. I have been everywhere. I love traveling.

But that's my story. And like I said in other peoples posts. If you have any questions feel free to ask them because I love to answer questions.

How I Know There are Vampires

Here is a tale for you of how I know there are vampires.

When I was small and before there was electricity in the lonely country area we had recently moved to (Yeah others besides vampires are old) I was sleeping in the same room as one of my baby sisters and several nights in a row I was awakened to find a shimmering full grown female figure beside my sisters cot. Each time I woke the figure sensed it and gestured at me and that froze me back to oblivion. I asked my mother why she had been in seeing my sister but she said she hadn't. In the next days my sister tragically died suddenly of moisture loss. I knew I had had a supernatural experience but never thought much about and always presumed it was an angel prior to my sisters death.

Many years later I was friends with some paranormal interested people and living with them near Sydney and they asked if I had had any paranormal experiences and I recalled this and told them. This website made me think of it again and for the first time in depth and with physic perception (akin to the TV show stuff although I don't know if the TV stuff is true).

I was able to peel back the shimmering “angel” seeming aura as the deliberate disguise the vampire had adopted from its long and often prior experiences with other children in the room of its victim waking up. I have seen through it to that and even to it slipping in through the top corner of the room which was a common spook entering the room method from 1700 - 1975.

I have seen of it like this that it fed off 2 - 5 kids a year like this with 2 to 5 visits for each for up to 145 years prior to my sister and mathematically calculated its moisture draining so as the last feed would drop the child's moisture level below recovery and the child must die. I have seen other manifestations of the same spook and have seen even further with physic vision of it than I have said.

So there is my tale for you, make of it what you will but its how I know there are vampires although if I ever get my hands on that one there will be one less.

Vampyre Legends Trends and Fads

For many years trends and fads come and go. The legend of the Vampyre’s however have out-staged any fad. From Buffy to Angel, Twilight to True Blood, Vampire Diaries etc.

It’s fascinating to have the ability to live forever, to intoxicate the human mind and seduce them into a climatic frenzy while the Vampyre feasts on their blood.

In movies, books and TV series, vampires are attractive and have stamina, they are passionate and fatally romantic. What is it about this legend that makes so many people out there want to believe in its existence?

I am an artist I write and I live out my life behind a lens. In the past few weeks I have lost everything you can think of. I am young but feel as though I have lived 1000 years. I, just as much as you all, wish I had superhuman strength and the ability to live forever and discover a fountain of youth that will make it so that I will never age, that I will keep my beauty forever more.

The reality is, this simply does not happen from the day we are born we already begin the process of dying.

My advice; create your own story, fantasy, live out your dreams live each day as if it were your last and… try to picture what mark you would like to make in this world, how you would like to be remembered and focus on taking the steps necessary to achieve those goals.

I suppose its not until you lose everything that you sit here at 6 pm on a Sunday evening and realize you have nothing.

Search for this legendary Vampyre all you want, you will find nothing because they simply do not exist.

Vampires Require Energy and Life Force

I’m not actually quite sure how it works. If you can think that each of you has a certain energy around you, circling you. It’s the energy of life. Dead things don’t have that energy, vampires don’t have that energy. If we want to stay alive, we need that energy. It circles you. It runs through your blood, too. Lot of people only associate blood with medican terms. Somewhere along the line it has lost its mythological sense. And, I myself look at the medical, physical side more; the fact is that without your blood, you couldn’t live. It is your blood that transports thing around your body. With each beat of your heart, blood is passed, and so are those vital supplies. But also in your blood you have the essence of your life, the same essence that radiates out of you and circles you. It’s a natural thing, and unique to living things.

I don’t know how I became a vampire. I’m just here. I guess I look around twenty? I don’t know. Nowadays you can’t tell people’s age through looking. Anyway. I don’t know, but that sort of force attracts me. Somehow I can intake your energy. If I breathe in – I don’t technically breathe, my face is structured like yours but inside I bet I’m different. I could do it by drinking your blood but by standing near you I can breathe in your energy. You wouldn’t know it, you wouldn’t sense it. It’s not a physical thing, and considering the fact that people nowadays aren’t very religious and hold no specific belief in anything like spirits and the essences of life, you wouldn’t have something in your mind telling you. Subconsciously, you may feel a little drained. Physically, I guess it would make sense to feel tired – I’m slurping your life force.

I’m not very healthy. I can survive, because I feed, but human blood is better. There is animal blood, and for those who only drink blood, then they could go for that. But I don’t like it. It’s not that, it makes me feel less humane. I like having human life in me, not an animals. Trust me, an animals life is ruled by so many different aspects compared to a humans, and they don’t have as much love for life. The zest of their energy isn’t there; they live to survive, they survive to life; it’s a pointless cycle. I prefer human imagination. It was better back when people were spiritual.

Even though I’m guessing we were more hunted then; more people believed, more people sensed. But I’m not saying don’t talk about us because I don’t want humans to know I am there so that I can feed easier – I love humans. I am so jealous, but I still manage to love. As much as I love humans, feel for humans, I can’t stop myself completely.

I tire very quickly. I spend my days in shopping centres and such, feeding off people. I have no companions. I pride myself on resisting the urge to kill. My life is pathetic, a waste. It’s not good. If I drank blood, I guess I’d feel better. There would be more to take in. But, I don’t. So, I feed off your energy instead. A strong willed person is often better than a weak person, but there’s not really anyway of knowing that. Basically, I don’t like vampires, I don’t think they're something to be adhered. I’m probably a demon from somewhere. I’ve never met another actual vampire. I’ve met fakes, loads of them, and humans who will literally sit an slurp ketchup all day to appear slightly different. I’m sorry if I seem moody, it’s just the way that I am.
